Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
— Margaret Mead

Being a part of Kansas Miracle does not mean that you have to be a good dancer (you can take it from us). Being a part of the movement means personally developing and growing as a leader while meeting amazing people along the way. Our organization is unlike any other on campus. Our leadership is somewhat of a motley crew, coming from backgrounds of accounting, graphic design, event planning, social media, dancing, etc. But we all share one thing in common: everything we do is For the Kids.

Our Leadership Structure

Executive board:

Our executive board consists of our Executive Director, VP of Internal Operations, VP of External Operations, and VP of Business. These individuals are responsible for overseeing a group of steering members and for making sure our organization has everything it needs to be successful.

Steering board:

Our steering board consists of 10 individuals who are responsible for directing certain committees for their divisions. Our steering directors oversee the finance, sponsorship, fundraising, media, graphic design, family relations, community outreach, recruitment, morale, and entertainment divisions of our organization.

Committee Members:

Our committee members are the largest part of our organization. The committee members report to their steering director and help out with certain projects all year long. The dedication and passion of our committees contributes to the FTK spirit of our organization. Learn about our specific committee roles here.
